As a native Idahoan, he and his wife have spent a lifetime in the Treasure Valley community, living, working, and raising their three children. After receiving his BA in Communications from Boise State University, Kent began his career in men’s business clothing, earning the designation of Master Custom Designer from the distinguished Custom Tailors and Designers Association of America. While providing Idahoans custom-tailored attire through his J. Kent Ltd. custom clothing business in Boise, Kent pursued his interest in real estate. For more than three decades, he has bought, sold, designed, and built houses in the Boise area, both as an investor and a homeowner.
