Miss Sally is 100% Pure Southern Charm and one Happy Grandmama. Her South Carolina accent is as endearing as her warm and friendly disposition. Serving comes naturally to Sally, like it does to most southerners. Sally has served clients in real estate both full and part-time since 1983. As a retired educator, after 33 years, Sally routinely put the needs of her students first. Today, she offers that same care and compassion, having her families’ and her client’s best interests at heart.
We first met Sally professionally when we were referred to her son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Julie, to help them acquire their first home for their growing family. Like so many grandparents, Sally’s distance from their little family was the driving influence that eventually compelled Sally and her husband, Beau, also a retired educator, to relocate from Pawleys Island, South Carolina, to Idaho. Sharing similar values, we connected instantly as both clients and friends.
Sally and Beau are devoted grandparents and love to spend time with their family, especially their grandchildren, and in service to their church community. If you really want to bring out the Southern in these two former teachers, just ask them to settle the great debate over the proper way to pronounce “pecan”.
They’ll tell you that your “pecan” pronunciation often reflects where you call home. “PEE-can” is commonly heard in northern states, while “puh-KAHN” is the go-to pronunciation for much of the south. They’ll throw in some variations in between, like “pick-AHN” or “pee-KAHN”. For many, this is more than just a pronunciation preference; it’s tied to heritage, family traditions, and regional pride. However you say it, we’d love you to send us some—and when you do, we’ll tell you how we say “pecan” here in Idaho.
When you, or those you care about, are making transitions in life that involve buying, selling or investing in real estate, Sally brings her years of experience, her grandmotherly compassion, and her pure Southern charm to guide you along the way.
