Kuna is a small city of roughly 30,000 residents in southwest Idaho, about 18 miles from downtown Boise. Kuna attracts families and individuals with the most affordable housing options in Ada County. Community Atmosphere

While growing by leaps and bounds, Kuna has kept many of its small-town traditions and community feel. Every summer, Kuna’s residents experience an old-fashioned country festival during Kuna Days. The two-day event is held annually at Bernie Fisher Park in downtown Kuna. It celebrates Kuna’s history, and each night of the event ends with a memorable fireworks display.

Summer is not the only time for the community spirit of Kuna to come alive. They also have the Down-Home Country Christmas parade every year. The parade follows Main Street to Bernie Fisher Park, where they have a traditional tree lighting. These events are enjoyed by lifelong residents and newcomers alike.

Kuna has some of the most breathtaking sites in the Treasure Valley within its borders. The Morley Nelson River Bird of Prey Nation Conservation Area offers a spectacular view of the Snake River Canyon from both above and on the canyon floor. The Kuna Greenbelt, Indian Creek is another scenic area to explore. It offers a winding, scenic path that is perfect for walkers and joggers alike. Along the path, there are also many shaded areas with nearby pools of water which make perfect picnic destinations.
