A Bit About Nampa

Nampa truly captures the heart and soul of Idaho. It's friendly, affordable, and perfect for those who love the outdoors. Even though Nampa is Idaho's third-largest city, with over 101,000 residents, it still feels like a charming small town. It's the ideal place to experience Idaho's famous neighborly, laid-back lifestyle. Living in Nampa means you have everything you need right at your fingertips – shopping, dining, and outdoor fun are all within easy reach. Whether you're drawn to a newer subdivision near Costco, a cozy older home in the historic downtown area, or a spacious property on the outskirts with stunning views of the Owyhee Mountains, Nampa has it all.

Downtown

Downtown Nampa is bustling with energy and charm. At its heart is the newly revitalized Library Square, home to the stunning 62,000-square-foot, state-of-the-art Nampa Library. This historic district is experiencing a wonderful resurgence, bringing new life to the area. Right in the center of downtown, you'll find the Nampa Train Depot Museum. Saved from demolition by dedicated citizens in 1972, this grand historic building showcases Nampa's rich railroad history with fascinating antiques, souvenirs, and more. Nampa's story began in the early 1880s when the Oregon Short Line Railroad established a route from Wyoming to Oregon, making Nampa a key stop with the fanciest railroad depot around.
