Eagle Island State Park is far from the only place to go in Eagle for a view of nature. The Boise River runs through town, and alongside it runs the Greenbelt which is filled with tree-lined walkways and nature scenes. Community Events
Eagle has a strong sense of community togetherness. As a result, it has many local events and festivals that regularly bring the community together. For almost six months of the year, from May until early October, the Eagle Saturday Market is open at Heritage Park in downtown Eagle. A variety of vendors set up shop there with specialty foods, hand-made crafts, and locally grown produce. In July, you can attend Eagle Fun Days, which features a classic car show, and in October, the city hosts the Eagle Harvest Fest. The Eagle Recreation Department also offers weekly classes and activities for seniors at a low cost.
