Where to Go in Meridian, Idaho

Meridian, Idaho is the 2nd largest city in Idaho, just west of Boise, the state capital. If you visit or choose to move to Meridian, you will never be short of things to do and explore. Let’s discuss just a few of the many places that Meridian offers to both newcomers and lifelong residents alike.

The Village at Meridian

The Village of Meridian is your destination for luxury shopping and dining experiences and is the only Idaho location for several prestigious establishments including the first In-n-Out Burger in the Gem State. The Village also sports a fitness center, arcade, movie theater, and bowling alley. It features Christmas-themed ice skating in the winter and outdoor entertainment in the summer. The Village is truly a place that has something for everyone.

Settler’s Park

Settler’s Park is a 58-acre park located in the heart of Meridian. It offers athletic fields, picnic shelters, the Adventure Island Playground, and a splash pad to cool off during the summer heat. Numerous events are held at Settler’s Park throughout the year. These include the Meridian Main Street Market and twelve weeks of free movies in the park on a large screen, Twilight Movie Night, during the summer. During the winter, the park is filled with holiday cheer with the Children’s Winterland Festival and Letters to Santa among other festivities.

Entertainment Galore

If you’re searching for a more immersive summer water activity, Meridian won’t disappoint. You can visit Roaring Springs Water Park, one of the largest water parks in the entire country. Right next door to Roaring Springs is Wahooz Fun Zone, which features a mini golf course, indoor rides, laser tag, bumper cars, and a meeting center to host events. One of Meridian’s most recent residents is Top Golf, a golf entertainment venue which offers not only golf in a climate-controlled atmosphere but also has a full-service lounge and restaurant.
